About Hartford Yard Goats Baseball
The Hartford Yard Goats, Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, offer affordable family entertainment from April through August at the award-winning Dunkin’ Donuts Park in Downtown Hartford. Dunkin’ Donuts Park opened in 2017 and was recently named was the winner of the “Best of the Ballparks” vote from Ballpark Digest, “Ballpark of the Year” by Baseballparks.com, and the “Best Place to see a Game” by Connecticut Magazine. Dunkin’ Donuts Park features a 360 degree walk around concourse, 7,000 square foot YG Club with full bar, 40 foot by 80 foot high definition videoboard, 4 foot by 250 foot LED Ribbonboard, 18 luxury suites, 2 dugout suites, outfield picnic pavilion, 2 second level party decks, second deck of seating in outfield, kids fun zone, themed concession stands, upper deck centerfield skyBar, inside climate controlled batting cages and pitching mounds, player and family lounges. The Yard Goats played in front of over 395,000 fans in Hartford this season, including 41 sellouts at Dunkin’ Donuts Park. There are several promotions for fans of all ages at Dunkin’ Donuts Park as part of the Yard Goats Entertainment Experience. One of the most popular promotions is the Post Game Fireworks Show, which takes place after each Friday and Saturday games. Fans also have the opportunity to take home a free souvenir with many of the premium giveaway games. The fan friendly atmosphere at a Yard Goats game includes many between inning promotions where fans have the opportunity to become part of the show and come to the field to compete against family or friends in a contest. Fans love to dance, smile and jump around when it’s time to show the crowd on the videoboard. You may even catch a player or two joining in on the fun. The Yard Goats are the Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies and host games against other major league affiliates, including the Red Sox, Yankees and Mets.
