Harv's Harley-Davidson, Macedon, NY was established in 1962 serving Upstate NY - from Buffalo to Rochester to Syracuse. Harv's Harley-Davidson®, Macedon, NYwas established in 1962 by the late Harv Rousseau and Milly Rousseau. Harv and Milly started the business on their farm witha chicken coop they converted into a Harley-Davidson dealership. Being very active motorcyclists, (Including the Empire Rider Motorcycle Club they established and the Motor Maids) they attended many events, including Laconia where in 1965, Milly was named Miss National Tour Queen. While Harv was employed full time at the American Can Company, Milly did her daily duties managing the dealership until her sudden passing in 1980. Daughter, Kim stepped into her mother's management position at the young age of 20. Kim, along with Greg Salmon, employed since 1979, continued to manage and build a strong dealership through the challenging 80's. In 1989, Kim purchased the Harley-Davidson franchise and a new generation with eyes on the future was born. Building upgrades and additions, computerized parts and service departments, Harley-Davidson trained employees - all in keeping with the down home atmosphere that Harv's had established. Our mission - to be involved with the customers - be active in the sport and have fun with it! Kim and the boys carry on that tradition today with many events and rides totally geared toward having a good time on your Harley®!
