About Harvard Undergraduate Women in Law Association
The Women in Law Association (WiLA) strives to bridge the gap that exists for students with marginalized gender identities, including women, nonbinary, and femme individuals interested in pursuing law. Gender historically and continues to pose unique challenges for people navigating legal careers. Thus, we provide a community and network to give our members the tools and experiences they will be able to carry with them into their professional journeys. We create, cultivate, and challenge students to seek out their dream profession, and overcome the systemic gender inequities they may face. We provide practical and useful pre-professional advice for students when it comes to applying for law school, finding summer internships, or learning more about the legal profession. We will cultivate meaningful relationships between mentors, peers, and advisers at law schools and with local employers. All gender identities and allies are welcome.
