About Harvest And Hope Houston
At Harvest and Hope we rescue great, healthy food that would be headed to landfills and instead use it to feed those who are food insecure. We are currently growing our programs to include a job training program as well as using the rescued food to make healthy medically specific meals to be delivered free of charge to those who are homebound due to an illness and unable to shop or cook for themselves. These meals will also be used to feed those in shelters as well as students who are relying on the free lunch program at school for their meals but are experiencing food insecurity at home.
