Through our two nimble buying and selling offices in the U.S., in LA and Miami, the company is able to follow the seasons and sustainably source directly from growers locally and from around the world to secure sensationally fresh produce for a consistent year-round supply. With that capability, we can quickly provide a wide variety of conventional and organic core commodity and specialty items to meet a dynamic customer base. In 2009, HS was the first produce company to introduce the original Organic Kale Salad Mix to retailers in the U.S. HS paved the way for the creation of an entirely new salad category that has been widely adopted in the produce industry. As a result, all fresh kale varieties and value-added packaged goods have experienced a boom in popularity and sales.
