About HatchSpace
HatchSpace is a community-supported workshop dedicated to preserving the artistry of woodworkers through advancement of traditional and contemporary woodworking skills and methods. HatchSpace offers affordable memberships for our 8,000 SF workshop and tools. We host a monthly calendar of training and skills-building courses for learners at all levels. And we foster a supportive, feedback-rich environment. Our tools include all those required for basic woodworking (table saws, jointer and planers, lathes etc), large-scale machines including a 43" sander, CNC mortise and tenon mill, a ShopBot with 8" of vertical travel), and fun tools for learning such as our GlowForge laser engraver. HatchSpace's courses cover basic tool training, beginning and intermediate woodworking skills, and advanced or "master" classes for producing exquisite wood-made goods.
