Freight Broker to Operate as a Franchise / Master General Agency Introduction: • Freight Broker Partnership Opportunity: Must have a verifiable book of business. • Exclusive Recruiting Territory: Recruit and manage agents and dispatchers to grow your book of business. • HTG Offers All Back Office Services: Including but not limited to Bonds, Compliance, Finances, Insurances, Brand Awareness/Marketing, and Tech Stack. Position Overview: • Role: Independent Freight Broker • Location: Remote / Your offices Compensation: • Freight Sales Commission: ○ 70% commission on all sales, provided the average running gross margin is 15% or higher. ○ Margin Calculation: Over a rolling 90-day period. If below 15%, commission drops to 65% until the margin recovers. ○ Payment Schedule: ○ Weekly Payments: Based on invoices paid by customers up to Thursday, available by the following Monday. ○ Pending Payments: Included in the following week's calculation once cleared. • Equity Stake: ○ 1% equity for every $1 million in annual revenue created by your agency, up to a maximum of 5% equity. ○ Vesting: Equity stakes will become fully vested annually based on the revenue achieved in the previous fiscal year. The vesting occurs each year upon the anniversary of the company, March 11th. Additional Benefits: • Non-Exclusive Agreement: No non-compete or non-solicitation restrictions; you can engage in other business activities. • Flexibility: No fixed term; termination can be initiated by either party with 90 days' notice. • Status: Voluntary participation; no employer-employee relationship established. Requirements: • Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in freight brokering with a strong network of carriers and clients. • Business Acumen: Ability to manage sales and maintain profit margins. • Self-Motivation: As this is a commission-based role, self-starters who can independently drive sales will thrive.
