Hazsoft is an online information management company, specializing in providing its customers with ready access to all of their Safety Data Sheets (SDSs). Every business uses hazardous or potentially hazardous products in its operations, and many of these can pose a wide range of health hazards to employees that work amongst these hazardous materials. OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HazCom) requires that information about these hazards is available to employers and employees via Safety Data Sheets. • Chemical Manufacturers must provide an MSDS for every product. 1910.1200 (b)(1) • Employers must make these MSDSs readily accessible to every employee. 1910.1200 (b)(3)(ii) • OSHA requires that MSDSs being used as an exposure record be accessible for 30 years after ceasing use of product. 1910.1020 HazSoft allows already overburdened Safety Managers (no such thing as an MSDS manager) to take control of a time consuming, resource draining job because we understand the demands of running an efficient, cost effective and safe work environment.
