HBI is an international brokerage and agency house specialized in products manufactured from vegetable oils and animal fats. We see ourselves as an agile, audacious and operations-driven multinational company which markets renewable products in a world desperately needing them. HBI’s competence is in marketing Biorenewables as well as all products made from Biorenewable raw materials. Biorenewables emanate from plant and animal fats and are known as triglycerides. They are natural, biodegradable and non-toxic. HBI’s mission is to sell market intelligence to participants to the international trade of biorenewables and by the resulting transactions promote sustainable cultural and economic bonds between regions. Oleochemical and biofuel producers are among the largest participants in our markets. The products which they manufacture and we market are used in a very large variety of industries at every level of our economy: fast-moving consuming goods’ manufacturers, farmers, animal feed producers, wastewater operators, polyol and resin producers… The variety of markets we are involved in is dense and in constant development. Sustainability at HBI is not a gimmick. Our expertise is in the market of renewable products. We have recognized early that our major asset in this relatively small industry is our reputation. Hence our efforts have been to nurture and support the development of each individual who composes our team. Together we work hard every day and take pleasure in offering the best service we are able to provide to our customers. Our service is certified ISO 9001 in France and in South America, we are members of FOSFA and GROFOR and of several other sustainability certifying bodies.
