About HD Production

The Henry Desmond Orchestra is a newly formed professional symphony pops orchestra based in Sevenoaks, Kent. We are committed to raising awareness of mental health problems in the performing arts while raising money for two theatrical charities, The Royal Theatrical Fund and Acting For Others. As a symphony pops orchestra we enjoy playing all kinds of music from many different genres. Notably Musical Theatre, Film and TV. We are the first Professional Orchestra in Sevenoaks and with this have the great pleasure to be able to bring London quality entertainment to the area in whatever form we perform. As well as being a symphony orchestra we can also take many different guises. Most recently as an extended pit orchestra for a night at the musicals, but we pride ourselves on being able to adapt to any event whether a 5 piece band is needed of a 60 piece orchestra we can cater. At the heart of the orchestra is the knowledge that with music comes enjoyment and happiness. If both my performers and audiences can leave our event with a smile on their faces then I have done my job right.
