About HDLA-JH

HDLA-JH is a Land Planning and Landscape Architecture firm located in Jackson, Wyoming. Our fundamental commitment is to develop design processes and solutions that are unique and responsive to individual environments and individual clients. We practice our belief that all aspects of a project must be researched, understood, and explored early in a collaborative process to develop unique landscapes that are comfortable and compatible with their context. We are a studio of landscape architects with a solid background in design exploration and construction documentation. Our experience includes diverse project scales, scope, and locations. HDLA-JH is driven by the desire to create enduring landscapes which balance human needs, beauty, and the natural environment. Our design process is structured to seek this balance by: • Understanding and responding to each site's unique natural environment; • Applying local cultural influences, meaning, and artistic sensibility in the development of form; • Developing a strong dialog between nature, art, and architecture through close collaboration with the client, architect, and other allied professionals; • Committing to regional integrity through the use of carefully considered regionally appropriate materials and detailing. Diverse in scale and program, our project experience includes master planning, urban redevelopment, park, and cultural facilities, resorts, and private gardens.
