About Headrest
Headrest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides addiction and crisis support services, focusing on those who can not otherwise afford these services. Only a very small percent of our clients’ costs are paid for by our clients. Beginning in 1971 as a hotline and resource for crisis and addiction services at Dartmouth College, Headrest has grown to become a service leader in these fields within the Upper Connecticut River Valley, New Hampshire, Vermont, and beyond. Located in Lebanon, NH, its services include in-patient and out-patient services to support addiction recovery. The 24-hour hotline which has operated continuously since its inception in 1971, and now is the only hotline that operates full-time, 7 days a week, for New Hampshire and Vermont.
