About Headwaters Counseling

Headwaters Counseling is a private, not for profit, 501(c)(3) mental health and substance abuse treatment center. We provide outpatient counseling services for persons who have behavioral health needs or are at risk for harmful involvement with alcohol or other drugs. We provide high quality, professional services at affordable rates due to our United Way of Allen County affiliation and grants from foundations such as Lincoln, Foellinger, and the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne. We also rely on fundraising efforts and donations from private citizens in order to broaden and maintain services and keep client fees and/or co-pays as low as possible. Our Mission: Headwaters Counseling promotes and develops healthy relationships in individuals, families, and communities so they are empowered to make positive life choices.
