With a rich history including, being converted into the Scottish Horse Regiment during WWII, and then being returned as the home to the Portman family throughout most of the 20th century, Healing Manor Hotel is now at the beginning of its next journey. Currently run by the award-winning duo Steven Bennett and Charlotte Hay, Healing Manor Hotel is a home away from home for many corporate clientele during the week. With 37 individually-designed bedrooms, including 4 dog-friendly rooms on offer, Healing Manor is spread between the main manor house, converted barns, boathouse and stable rooms. Boasting a converted barn and moated island, both set in the 36 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, Healing Manor hosts many weddings, celebratory events, conferences and team building days for up to 150 people. Recently crowned Lincolnshire's Dining Pub 2019/20 and 2 AA Rosette's, family and dog-friendly pub the Pig & Whistle serves seasonal ingredients which are grown and produced by independent growers and producers right here in Grimsby and Lincolnshire. Serving traditional British cuisine, come the evening a seasonal A la Carte menu is on offer, alongside a bar menu, which is served from 12pm - 9.30pm. Healing Manor is also home to the Cure All lounge, aptly named after the Grand National winner - horse, the Cure All, who was stabled at the manor in the years running up to its victory in 1845. the Cure All lounge is the perfect setting for meeting, private dining and special occasions, seating between 2 - 14 guests.
