About Healing Partners of the Central Coast
Healing Partners of the Central Coast (HPCC) serves cancer and chronically ill patients on the Monterey Peninsula with free, compassionate Healing Touch (HT) sessions. Healing Touch energy therapy helps increase physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. Healing Touch is non-invasive, holistic, and promotes deep relaxation. HT is based on the belief that a vital energy flows through and around the body. Scientists identify this flow as electromagnetic energy. This field can be disrupted due to injuries, illness, anxiety, or negative emotions. HT Providers work to restore the balance of this field. Cancer patients receive a minimum of 8 HT sessions as they go through their medical treatments. Each HT Recipient is thoughtfully paired with one Provider and receives eight free sessions, one session a week. For patient convenience, HT treatment rooms are available in Monterey, Pacific Grove, Seaside, Carmel, Carmel Valley, and Salinas. In Healing Touch sessions, Providers use gentle touch at key points on or just above the body to remove congested energy, balance the body’s electromagnetic energy flow, and stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities. Patient benefits also result from the heart-centered partnership between the HT Provider and the Recipient that nurtures open communication, confidence, and trust. HT Recipients are fully clothed throughout the 45-minute session and can be lying down or seated in a chair. To integrate with the patient’s clinical treatment plan, HT Providers collaborate with the patient’s medical team as appropriate to ensure the most effective and personalized care. Over 95% of the HPCC’s HT Recipients report significant health benefits and the highest levels of satisfaction with their HT sessions.
