About Healing Roots Therapy
Healing Roots Therapy believes that to maintain a healthy balance and an overall wellness in life it is essential that we attend to our whole being, body, mind and spirit. Gaining an awareness and understanding of our needs plays a vital role in how we grow as individuals, manage the relationships we have with loved ones and our self, and how we live our lives. We offer all individuals a safe space to develop an increased awareness and understanding of their internal self and the relationships they share with loved ones, through support and guidance on a humanistic level. Through mutual respect and positive communication, clients and counsellors are able to establish a safe and positive therapeutic relationship. All individuals are unique and experience different challenges throughout life and therefore, the journey towards healing for every client is understood to be uniquely different. We take a client-centred approach when working with clients by encouraging individuals to learn more about themselves and the challenges they may face. Healing Roots Therapy also holds a value and belief that therapy should be accessible and affordable to everyone for whatever their needs and/or hopes are for therapy. We support this value by offering low-cost therapy to clients where finances present as a barrier to weekly or bi-weekly support.
