About Health Center

Health Center slaat vanaf 1 januari 2013 een nieuwe weg in als Leefstijl- en Preventie Centrum. Health Center van sportsjoal via fitnesscentrum, een stapje hoger, naar Leefstijl en Preventie Centrum. De Leefstijl- en Preventie Centra onderscheiden zich van de reguliere fitnesscentra door het aanbieden van doelgroep gerichte programma’s en begeleiding. De trainers en instructeurs in de Leefstijl en Preventie Centra hebben de expertise in het begeleiden en coachen van specifieke doelgroepen als: (pre-)diabetes, overgewicht, obesitas, COPD, ouderen, hart en kankerrevalidatie e.d. In de Leefstijl en Preventie Centra worden mensen die een specifiek doel na streven optimaal en vanuit een wetenschappelijk kader begeleid met behulp van doelgroep gerichte beweegprotocollen. Health Center (Maastricht en Eijsden) hanteert deze speciaal voor de Leefstijl- en Preventie Centra ontwikkelde beweegprotocollen. Ook zijn de Health Center trainers en instructeurs inmiddels volledig opgeleid en geregistreerd in het register voor fitnessprofessionals, EREPS genaamd. Hier onderscheidt Health Center zich in ten aanzien van de overige fitnessaanbieders.
