About Health Focus South Africa

Health Focus South Africa (HFSA) is the independent branch of Health Focus GmbH, an international consulting firm established in 2001 with a track record of service provision in global health across the world. The Johannesburg/ South Africa office was opened in June 2016 in Johannesburg. Health Focus SA is specialised in occupational health and safety consulting services, with emphasis on the mining sector as well as equitable, quality sexual and reproductive health services (including family planning, HIV and STIs). Health Focus South Africa´s mission is to contribute to the improvement of health systems and the health of the population in the Eastern and Southern African sub-region. It responds to the existing challenges in partner countries through the provision of individual support and tailor-made programmes. Highly qualified teams with local expertise assess country and sector specific environments and facilitate communication and exchange between key actors. Health Focus delivers; high-quality health and social sector projects, research and evaluation studies, workshops and training programmes, to; governments, bilateral and multilateral development agencies and the private sector and civil society organisations.
