About Health-Link Society
Founded at Temple University, Health-Link Society (HLS) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing volunteering opportunities within marginalized and local communities. Our organization stands out from other pre-professional societies because we offer a variety of activities in an inclusive environment. As a model for future chapters, Temple HLS has sponsored events such as a food drive that has helped feed over 500 homeless individuals, blood drives in partnership with the American Red Cross, and a donut fundraiser that delivered over 540 donuts to the Philadelphia area. In addition, we have provided students with the opportunity to connect with healthcare professionals and gain valuable knowledge about medical school and MCAT preparation. Currently, one of our main goals is to expand our reach and increase our impact.
