About Health Risk Management
About Health Risk Management, Inc. Health Risk Management, Inc., (HRM), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity, is dedicated to saving lives, mitigating risk, and conserving money with an easy-to-use DSM-5-TR-compliant OUD-diagnostic interview and comprehensive psychobiosocial risk assessment protocol that rapidly facilitates access to judicious utilization of pain pharmacologics for “at-risk” patients, whereby, identifiable psychobiosocial risk factors may be responsibly mitigated. The NICA Opioid Use Disorders Risk Assessment: DSM-5-TR Based Criteria (NICA OUD-5-TR) protocol rapidly assesses various risk factors often associated with OUD, screens for actual or suspected opioid use disorder(s) and permits consideration of risk-mitigation services. The NICA OUD-5-TR is indexed to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision (Copyright ©2022). American Psychiatric Association. The NICA OUD-5-TR is administered by a qualified healthcare professional. [Estimated time for administration: 15 minutes] The NICA Psychobiosocial Risk Assessment: Diagnostic Interview (NICA PBS RA: DI) is a structured, due-diligence risk assessment exploration of key patient life-domain psychobiosocial risk factors, with broad applicability to virtually any psychological, biomedical and/or sociological component of a person’s life. The NICA PBS RA: DI is administered by a qualified healthcare Assessor. [Estimated time for administration: 60-75 minutes] The NICA Opioid Risk Assessment (NORA): Comprehensive Protocol (NORA) protocol battery combines both the NICA OUD-5-TR and the NICA PBS RA: DI. The NORA is a comprehensive risk assessment and diagnostic healthcare protocol with clinical relevance and applicability for, virtually, any medical, mental health and/or substance use disorder. The NORA is administered by a qualified healthcare Assessor. [Estimated time for administration: 75-90 minutes]
