Healthbox CIC (Community Interest Company) is a not for profit, social enterprise based in Ellesmere Port working in the Cheshire East and West area's. Healthbox aims to promote health and wellbeing to individuals and groups by empowering them to make healthier choices easier. Healthbox CIC believes that: · All individuals should be given the chance to understand their own health and wellbeing and should be given the opportunity to improve their quality of life · Each community is different and we endeavour to work with their strengths and assets · Good health and wellbeing should be a right not a privilege · Access to services should be equal and assessable for all · Patient and service user input should shape health services · Partnership working and joining up of services is key to maximising benefits for our communities We offer a range of services to the residents of our surrounding communities of all ages; 1. Early Years Nutrition (Weaning and Toddler Nutrition Workshops as well as Pregnancy Nutrition) 2. Health and Wellbeing Primary and Secondary School Workshops including Healthy Cookery and Lifestyles, Anti Bullying and Cyber Bullying, Handwashing, Oral Health and much more. 3. Funded projects with the aim to improve the health and wellbeing of our communities (The Wellbeing High Street; £500k 3 year project in Ellesmere Port supporting families, the unemployed, people with disabilities and more) Also, The Welcome Network, reducing the stigma around accessing food banks. 4. Physiotherapy for long term condition services 5. Falls Prevention/ Strength and Balance classes for the elderly 6. Mental Health Service including Mental Health First Aid, Adult Counselling and Child 1-2-1 counselling 7. Yoga and Mindfulness for adults and children
