HealthPad manages and distributes premium reliable health information between health professionals and patients in order to improve outcomes. Launched in June 2013, it has an exclusive and growing global content library of some 5,000 premium videos that address patients' FAQs across 33 therapeutic pathways. The video content is contributed by leading clinicians from world class medical institutions in the US, Europe and SE Asia, and the site is visited by people interested in health and healthcare from over 60 countries. HealthPad also publishes a fortnightly eCommentary that addresses healthcare issues, which is distributed to a large and growing global group of people comprised of leading clinicians, policy makers, thought leaders, journalists, medical students and people interested in health generally. Since its inception, the Commentary has averaged an extremely high opening rate, and now has a large growing global following. HealthPad is now proactively engaging people living with chronic non-communicable diseases in order to enhance their understanding of their conditions, propel them into self management and slow the onset of complications. Working in conjunction with a few London primary care practices it has successfully piloted a project for people living with diabetes. From this we have developed a product and are now exploring ways that this can be rolled out more generally. HealthPad is operated by Kwatsi (www.kwatsi.com), a digital health company formed in 2010 by Keith Bradley, a founding and current director of Integra Life Sciences Holdings Corporation and a former Harvard Business School professor.
