HEALTHSEARCH LIMITED is a small independent research company specialising in the analysis and reporting of New Zealand health, disability and social information. We undertake commissioned projects for a wide range of public sector agencies and not-for-profit organisations. Key services we offer include: • health, disability and social information search and retrieval • literature reviews and appraisals of local and overseas research studies • analysis of health and social statistics • data table building, chart and infographics making • writing and editing reports for specialist and general audiences. Our core skills include project design, internet and library searching, document retrieval and review, appraisals of scientific literature, descriptive analysis of statistical data, preparing data tables and charts, and writing and editing reports. Our commissioned projects have covered a range of topics including alcohol, tobacco and other drugs; child and adolescent health; child and adult disability; food and nutrition; injury prevention and treatment; population mortality and morbidity trends; health of older people; primary health care; and sexual and reproductive health. Much of this work has focused on public health and social issues, but we have also done research on the design and delivery of hospital and other health services.
