About Healthshifter

We are Heidi and Carly—Mom, Daughter, Functional Medicine Certified Health Coaches, licensed lawyer, and special education teacher. We are dedicated to helping our clients make small “shifts” to create health, wellness and happiness in their lives. We walk side by side and arm in arm with our clients to help them with goals relating to: maintaining a healthy weight, performing enough physical activity, stress management, better sleep, interpersonal connections, gaining energy and a having a zest for life. We want our clients to feel as good as they possibly can and to know that they have power over their own health and wellness. We have trained at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA) where we learned and understand that each person is unique. What works for one client may not work for another. We studied many different food plans, mindfulness and relaxation techniques, exercise and sleep tools that can support a client’s specific health and wellness needs. Together we will look at food, movement, stress, sleep and relationships and how one or several of these factors may be impacting health. We are specifically trained at FMCA to partner with Functional Medicine Practitioners. We understand their language, tools and protocols. We can help support the patient taking the journey prescribed by a Functional Medicine Doctor or other health care provider. We love spending time with family, our dogs and friends. We enjoy the outdoors, speed walking, climbing, and exercise. We love food shopping, food preparation, cooking, and eating. We especially love to introduce healthy delicious foods and recipes to our family and friends. We can modify your favorite recipes to meet your health goals. We are passionate about health and wellness!
