Healthy Boost is a developer of community owned supermarkets bringing lower priced groceries, better access to clean label eating options, while encouraging local wealth creation. Healthy boost, we started out as a Juice bar company, establishing Kiosk in Malls throughout the US, once covid hit, it forced us to change our business plan and with an already established team of , Nutritionist, Community advocates and food retail industry specialist , we combined all the collective fields of expertise and the Bargain Barn initiative was born which is Establishing a supermarket co-operative where the communities that they serve own a huge portion of them, it will keep money circulating in their community longer , it will inspire community loyalty it will benefit the community , due to the co-operatives buying power we can purchase grocery goods at lower rates and pass the savings on to the community. Covid has exposed the unequal health conditions in our inner-city environments, which is largely due to the lack of healthy eating options and Healthy Boost aims to fix this divide. We have launched a nation wide Supermarket Development & Acquisition campaign converting privately owned supermarkets to Healthy Boost Bargain Barns, the co-operatives purchasing power will be able to compete in pricing with big box stores like Walmart passing these savings on to inner-city communities. Community Benefits: *Access to affordable natural and organic meats and produce *Down payment grants for 1st time homeowners. We intend to give a downpayment grant to an eligible community family once a year. *Community co-operative ownership. We will offer ownership shares to the residents of the community in the location of the Healthy Boost Bargain Barn. Nutritional Education. Each location will have a nutritional assistance desk with a licensed nutritionist answering questions and suggesting foods to assist with diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.
