About Healthy Partners
For over 20 years, the Healthy Partners team has been dedicated to bringing together health plans, physicians and patients to improve the health and wellness of seniors. Healthy Partners’ approach to patient care recognizes the complexities of care delivery and the need for true care coordination in the era of Medicare Advantage and Value Based Care health care plans. Our founder and Chief Executive Officer, Bob Camerlinck, began his career in the healthcare industry in 1989 as a sales representative with Humana. In this role he met directly with seniors to discuss their desires and concerns when selecting health coverage. Once he understood their struggles, he quickly realized the need for a new healthcare delivery model that would best align the needs of patients with health plan coverage accepted by their preferred primary care providers. In 1994 Mr. Camerlinck partnered with a primary care physician and together they opened their first concierge-level medical practice designed to offer premium healthcare to seniors enrolled in Medicare Advantage. This premier practice became the platform that provided Mr. Camerlinck the opportunity to successfully deliver his vision for senior healthcare. Mr. Camerlinck has since built and acquired several practices and expanded his business model under the Healthy Partners Primary Care brand. Additionally, he founded a Medical Service Organization (“MSO”), Healthy Partners MSO, which offers necessary support to physicians so they can thrive when participating in risk sharing value-based healthcare models. Since its inception, Healthy Partners MSO has become one of the most sophisticated and well-respected operations of its kind in the healthcare industry. Healthy Partners is dedicated to consistently provide the services and support necessary for seniors to feel truly appreciated and cared for in the era of value based care.
