Hear My Eyes screenings are cultural projects that push the conventions of film and sound beyond their familiar forms. Translating the original cinematic experience for the 21st century, the Hear My Eyes team work with musicians to write an all new film score and perform it live at alongside the screening. The primary point of difference between a Hear My Eyes live score event, and other traditional cinema concerts, is that Hear My Eyes commission notable contemporary musicians to re-interpret a film's soundtrack, coach them through the composition process to write a new score, then co-ordinate the delivery of the event itself, translating the new score into an awe inspiring live production. The outcome is a rare film experience with an original live score breathing new life into a film that allows audiences to access it in a fresh and unique way. Hear My Eyes has a very considered and detailed creative processes in place to work with the lead creatives ever step of the way. The team of experienced professionals spans both film and music industries to ensure that every step of the development and production is delivered to a world class standard. The creative Hear My Eyes team includes producers, musical directors, sound engineers, stage managers, film directors and film academics, all of which can be relied on to assist the musicians deconstruct the film, write the new score then rehearse and deliver the performance. While the other half of the Hear My Eyes team takes care of marketing, publicity, operations, legal, finances and partnerships. Haydn Green is the founder of Hear My Eyes and acts as the head curator and managing director.
