About Heart and Soul Free Clinic
HISTORY OF CLINIC: Heart and Soul Clinic was founded in 2009 by Sandy Kirsch. She was motivated to start the clinic because of the need for quality medical care for uninsured individuals. Her faith helped her through all the hard work needed to start the clinic. She had a great community surround her and the City of Westfield provided the house that the clinic was initially located at 202 Penn Street in Westfield. As the clinic continued to grow, dental care was added in 2015. In addition to medical and dental services, the clinic purchased an RV in 2017 to provide mobile medical services to other locations. The clinic outgrew the location on Penn Street and moved to 17338 Westfield Park Road in 2018. The current space has allowed the clinic to continue to grow and add additional services such as Women's Health & Mental Health Services in 2020. MISSION To provide highest quality healthcare to our uninsured and underinsured neighbors in Central Indiana regardless of their social, cultural, and economic status. VALUES STATEMENT We will deliver our services with compassion and competence as we remain attentive to the health and well-being of those we serve while being guided by the holy spirit. DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION STATEMENT Heart & Soul Clinic’s commitment to our neighbors shall also be guided by the principle that our environment from the clinic to the boardroom will always be diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Our vision regarding diversity, equality, and inclusion means that patients shall always have access to the best quality healthcare without respect to their race, gender, religion, political affiliation, sexual orientation, economic status, health, etc. Similarly, we shall always strive to create meaningful opportunities for service within our clinic. Therefore, we believe that our neighbors are best served when the spirit of diversity, equality, and inclusion also guide our approach to providing care for those we serve.
