About Heart of the Valley, SERVICES FOR SENIORS
Heart of the Valley, SERVICES FOR SENIORS, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) publicly supported corporation committed to facilitating, advocating and supporting independent living for seniors residing in the West Santa Clara Valley by offering services performed by dedicated volunteers. Many older adults face leaving their personal possessions, social contacts, and their homes behind, because basic needs such as in-home services, transportation, home repair and companionship are not available. Mowing a lawn, driving a car, shopping for groceries, making a phone call, writing a letter, or keeping their home in order, could be the final straw that pushes an elderly adult into an institutional facility. Even the simplest tasks can be a stumbling block in the path of an older person. At Heart of the Valley, SERVICES FOR SENIORS, Inc. we are committed to extending the independence of seniors through the skills and talents of our volunteers.
