About HeartBrothers Foundation
Founded in 2014, the HeartBrothers Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation dedicated to helping Heart Failure patients and their families navigate the complicated financial world of Heart Failure, Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs), and Heart Transplantation. Our mission is to fill gaps for patients by offering them essential support through medical insurance assistance programs, informative stress-coping resources, and connections to the global Heart Failure community. We are the HeartBrothers Foundation. We have a unique perspective on heart failure after more than 30 combined years experience living with heart failure, including two years in the hospital. Our first-hand understanding of the overwhelming physical, mental and financial stresses that affect heart failure patients and their loved ones is why we’ve dedicated our lives to helping heart failure patients navigate the many gaps that exist in their care. Through our fundraising efforts, heart disease charities, and the generous donations of individuals and corporations like you, we help fill the gaps for heart failure patients via financial contributions (lodging, transportation, meals), medical insurance assistance programming, informative stress-coping resources, and peer-to-peer support. We also focus our efforts on increasing awareness about heart failure to the general public and forging connections within the global heart failure community.
