About Hearts, Hands and Hope

Hearts, Hands and Hope is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. With our Three Phase System we are able to create secure households and solve food insecurity. Our first phase is food. We purchase our food from Second Harvest Food Bank as a Partner Agency; which means you get 10x the buying power for food when you donate us. Phase Two is with Orlando Health and getting people jobs along with FREE education - you don't have to pay it back once you are employed with them - along with health care resources. Phase Three completes the job placement aspect with Career Source of Central Florida. All three phases completed means the family is no longer dependent, rather independent contributors to society in a dignified way. Most people who are food insecure will not tell their best friend, so we work with Families in Need, The Foundation of Seminole County Public Schools and individual school social workers to ensure the most dignified way to empower those receiving our food bags each week. We serve around 250 clients each week with enough food to last over the weekend for the family; food you can cook that's high in protein, vitamins and minerals. This can't be done without sponsorship and donations in order to buy the food from our partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank. So far we have placed more than 300 families back into the workforce with stable lifestyles. We provide the opportunities, the family provides the effort. The children are often left in the middle, so we make sure that if you are hungry...we will feed you.
