About Heath Engineering

Heath Engineering was started in 2019 as a metal building engineering company to bring a higher level of metal building knowledge, experience, and service to Heath Steel and our customers. We are based out of Northern Colorado with an office in Oklahoma City, which allows us to effectively serve a larger range of clients in many geographic regions. Heath Engineering was started by Randy DeMario and Dan DeKalb, P.E. Randy, our president, has over three decades of construction and business ownership experience gained from his 25 years as Owner of Heath Construction, and nearly 12 years as the current Owner of Heath Steel. Dan is a licensed engineer and brings 30 years of experience within the Metal Building Industry. He has extensive metal building fabrication and engineering experience with a leading national Metal Building company where his roles included Manager of Engineering Services, Director of Drafting Services, and Director of Quality Research and Development. Dan is also the owner of DeKalb Engineering. Structural engineering for complex metal building projects is Heath Engineering’s specialty. Decades of experience mean practical, reliable, and innovative structural design done right.
