About Heath School (H3 Federation)
Heath School is a Alternative Provision school for students aged 11 to 16 who have been excluded or moved from other Camden schools. We have capacity for up to 50 students – and we believe every single one of them can be inspired, can learn and can succeed. Working at Heath is very different to a mainstream school. Our skilled and experienced staff work very closely together and support each other as a team. Our working day includes enough time to build good relationships with every individual student, and we take huge pride in watching them grow and thrive. Heath School is a bright, airy and well-equipped environment. Our staff are warm and friendly, and the school’s atmosphere is calm and purposeful. Heath School is one of the founding partners of the H3 Federation, alongside Haverstock School and Harmood School. Our Federation is driven by our belief that working together, we could do so much more for every secondary age student in Camden. As well as the 3 schools, we also have a specialist provision for autistic students and a reintegration base for students at risk of exclusion. These are located on our Haverstock School site and offered to students across the whole borough. Staff are usually employed to work in one specific school. But you can also choose to spend time in the other schools allowing you to develop additional skills that will help you progress in your career. At Heath School, we're ambitious for every student. We set our expectations high, and we have the energy, skills and resources to support our young people to meet this challenge. Some of our young people may have a negative view of school before coming to us. But at Heath School, we give each child a fresh start and a new approach with lots of encouragement and the support they need to feel positive about themselves and about their future. Our days can sometimes bring new challenges – but we believe it’s the most rewarding work you will ever do.
