Hebden Counselling is a sole trader counselling business run by Gareth Parry RMBACP AccredNCPS, offering an integrative counselling service based in Hebden Bridge. It offers it's services to people in Calderdale, East Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Kirklees, Bradford, Leeds & Wakefield areas. Gareth Parry, who founded this company in 2012 after gaining his diploma in counselling, has also gone on to gain a first class degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, he is a registered member of the BACP and an accredited member of the NCPS. He also holds a full certificate of proficiency. His counselling practice aims to provide a safe and non-judgemental environment in which clients can work towards goals of self awareness, healing and personal acceptance. Sessions are based on the person-centred approach but do take tools to help the client from many other approaches such as CBT, TA, psychodynamic and behavioural meaning they are focused on and directed by you, the client, but can have interventions from the counsellor which may challenge negative thought patterns and behaviours. Therefore, during each session, I work alongside you with an empathic, congruent and understanding mind, facilitating your journey of self exploration, building self understanding, self awareness and self confidence, offering you a full integrative counselling approach. I currently base my practice at Hebden Bridge Therapy Centre, but am available to work at other locations upon request.
