Hebrew Free Loan Association of South Florida, Inc. is a 501c3 Non-Profit Charity serving the South Florida Jewish Community since 1989. Our funding program facilitates financial independence through the use of interest-free micro lending. Each contribution is an investment in the dignity and independence of many individuals and families in our local Jewish community, HFLA’s mission is rooted in the age old biblical teaching of Tzedakah (Social Justice), which encourages the community to perform deeds of kindness that give beneficiaries a hand up, rather than a hand-out. As loans are repaid, the funds are recycled back into our community which means HFLA has the ability to continue helping families and individuals time and time again HFLA provides interest-free loans to members of the Jewish community in the areas of: • Fertility/IVF • Medical and Dental expenses • Business development/entrepreneur loans • Special education/disability • Housing and car repairs • Life cycle events • Loans for early childhood and adult continuing education • Legal costs such as Immigration and divorce • Help for victims of domestic violence Your gift can give someone a chance to stand with dignity on their own two feet.
