Since its inception in 2016, Heftman R&D has specialized in designing and producing complex state-of-the-art medical devices. Our services are enjoyed by a range of partners, from early-stage startups to well established companies in the medical industry. Lead by our founder Gilad Heftman, we utilize our breadth of knowledge and experience in developing medical devices for a variety of disciplines including laparoscopy, cardiology, bariatrics, medical robotics, urology, gynecology, orthopedics and more. Heftman R&D has extensive experience in all stages of development, from the conceptualization stage to prototype design, test execution, serial production for validation and transfer to production. Situated at the heart of the Israeli medical industry, we recognize your need for a swift response, face-to-face communication, creativity and precision. Therefore, we offer a quick and efficient research and development process with full participation of our client at all stages. In-House Capabilities Heftman R&D specializes in the production of flexible reinforced catheters. Our advanced machinery is capable of manufacturing flexible composite tubing, with the ability to integrate nylon and PEBAX jackets of varying stiffness scales, as well as PTFE liners. We also have the capability of integrating stainless steel wires, in varying combinations of interwoven coil and braid patterns. Furthermore, we provide a wide range of catheter diameters, as small as 1[mm], and as large as 15[mm]. The catheters we manufacture can be of constant or varying diameters in this range. Metallic components, such as steering wires and marker rings can be integrated as part of the manufactured product, or as its extension.
