About Heidrea for Heroes

Heidrea for Heroes is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit providing custom support to veterans who are facing hardships and transition challenges in civilian life. Our MISSION is to provide adaptive housing renovations, vehicle modifications, qualified home repairs, specialized mobility equipment, veteran/family support, immediate utility/rent relief, and workforce readiness programs that motivate veterans and families to move forward through challenges. By providing a positive direction for our U.S. veterans during unexpected hardships, we honor their service. We often partner with businesses and individuals who appreciate the sacrifices our veterans have made for our country and who want to give back. Some of our donors have engaged with us because past charitable work has left them feeling like their gift wasn't meaningful for a large organization; disconnected due to services benefitting those removed from their local community; or frustrated by lack of transparency. Heidrea for Heroes is a small, local non-profit working every day to serve veterans in southeastern MA. We offer a range of business partnership levels, and, if desired, an option to restrict your donation to support individual veteran projects only. From large gifts to small ones, the generosity of community members makes a real difference for our organization and drives our work. Any veteran from Bristol, Norfolk, Plymouth, Barnstable or (parts of) Middlesex and (parts of) Worcester Counties are eligible to apply for support.
