Heights Jewelers has been in the jewelry business for almost a century. We started in 1938 as Heights Jewelers, a neighborhood jewelry store in New York City. Our family lived in the neighborhood. Our friends were our customers, and our customers became our new friends. Times were different back then. The jewelry was not bought from a mass production factory and resold. The jewelry sold was of our hand-crafted creation. Our exclusive jewelry was crafted in a workshop in our store. Diamond jewelry was created and produced in our store. Our customer’s broken jewelry was mended and restored in our workshop in our store. Watches were overhauled and repaired in our store. Our work was first rate and we took pride in it, for it reflected on us. All our work was guaranteed with an absolute and irrevocable guarantee. It was certified with something more secure than a federal pledge. We gave each piece a quality assurance, backed by something irrevocable and irrefutable: It was guaranteed by our reputation and our word! In those days a man’s word meant something and a handshake was a contract! Today we continue the tradition of quality and integrity in the jewelry marketplace. We are that same family business, with a modern variation. We still take pride in our craftsmanship and honor that pledge.
