As the effect of most mutations on gene function is largely unknown, Heligenics comprehensively measures the functional significance of mutations in the human genome through a massively parallel in-vitro process called the GigaAssay, measuring the impact of all potential amino acid substitutions in the functional target protein, doing in a few months what would take many years to do if at all.
