About Hellenic Business Council Dubai

The Hellenic Business Council (HBC), licensed by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, was officially established in February 2024 to promote economic cooperation between Dubai and Greece. The Council aims to deepen trade relations, foster business opportunities, and support the Greek business community in the UAE. The first annual general meeting of the HBC took place in February, 2024 with key figures including His Excellency Antonios Alexandridis, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the UAE, and His Excellency Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, in attendance. The meeting focused on electing the council’s Board and a discussion on the strategic direction of the HBC. The elected Board members of the HBC are as follows: -Karvelis Thanos (Chairman) -Papachristou Christos (Vice-Chairman) -Petras Giannis (Secretary General) -Assimakopoulos Ilias -Kotios Chronis -Mastoras Christos -Moulinou Sophia -Mylonas Apostolos -Tsoulos Sotiris The HBC is poised to play an essential role in enhancing bilateral business and trade, offering a platform to enhance the presence of the Greek business community in Dubai, and facilitating networking opportunities. This collaborative effort aims to strengthen the economic and cultural ties between the two nations, facilitating further economic cooperation and fostering a thriving environment for trade and investment.
