Our 5 Core Services Helping clients find services We do our research so that we know what services are available and what paperwork our clients need to do. No client has the same need, so services are customized for each one. Services can include support for: transport, food, housing, utilities, counseling, child protective services and access to other legal services, etc. Give clients that “Invisible backbone” We help our clients by being their emotional and mental encouragement in their heads showing them that they have the power to do anything that they want to do. We also let them know that it is ok to have days where they want to just hide. Provide Assistance with the Police Talking to the police can be scary. We help our clients make the best police report they can by walking them through each step and by being with them as they make the report. Chaperone Services We will go with our clients anywhere they need to go so that they feel safe and know that someone else has their back and to be an extra set of eyes. Examples include: court houses, police stations, hospitals, escort services for children exchanges, etc. Build clients’ confidence to succeed We realize that crises don’t last just one day. We help our clients organize their thoughts on paper or do worksheets so that it will be easier to accomplish all they need to (i.e. police reports, protection orders, etc.). If we can’t go into their appointments, then we sit in the waiting room so that they know someone cares about them.
