About Helping Hands Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy services provided in a wheelchair-accessible clinic or in the comfort of your own home. We specialize in the treatment of children and adults with disabilities or complex needs (such as people with a complex medical or surgical history, complex body shapes, or stubborn issues that have been resistant to conventional treatment approaches such as chronic pain or muscle spasm). Your physiotherapist will work with you +/- your carers or care team to provide you with the best plan to meet your goals. Our physiotherapist, Clara Caplice, is highly experienced and skilled in a number of hands-on and hands-off techniques to increase movement, regulate muscle tone and decrease pain. She is also highly skilled in the prescription of specialized equipment and can arrange private consultations for you to review or prescribe specialist seating/wheelchairs, lying supports, orthotics/splints, etc. Clara will work in tandem with any healthcare professionals you are seeing via private or public services to ensure co-ordinated care that is of the highest standard. Clara also has more than 5 years' experience working in "general practise", i.e. treatment of common complaints such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee and hip pain, foot and ankle pain or deformity, post-op rehabilitation, etc and is happy to see you on request. However, priority is given to those who require specialist knowledge and skills who find it difficult to find therapists suitably qualified and experienced to meet their needs. Medicolegal assessments and consultations on request, please contact for details.
