Helping Hearts at Home was established in 2016 and is owned and operated by a Registered Nurse, Kelly Lanzon, who has over 25 years experience in geriatric nursing care within the home care, skilled nursing, medical practice and hospital segments. Helping Hearts at Home provides personalized non-medical in-home companion care services to clients whom require an additional level of care due to chronic debilitating disease (i.e., Alzheimer's/dementia, Parkinson's, Diabetes, Arthritis, COPD, Depression) or acute illness (i.e., Exacerbations, Orthopedic Injuries, Falls Risk). to enable to continue to live independently within their home (or assisted living facility) with grace, dignity and safely. Our Companions, also, conduct for clients - light housekeeping, escort to medical appts., medication reminders, meal prep and planning, hygiene and in-bathroom safety, light pet care, escort safely on walks and socialization engagement in life, stimulate mental awareness and assist with activities of daily living. Helping Hearts at Home, also, provides HC-PRI Assessment and The "SCREEN" when requested. Helping Hearts Companions are thoroughly screened and vetted, both in New York and nationally upon hire and monthly, thereafter. All companions regularly undergo education and training to improve their knowledge and skills. They must have at least three years of experience to even be considered for our agency.
