The Hemophilia Association of the Capital Area (HACA) is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization established in 1964 to serve persons with bleeding disorders and their families in northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties in Maryland. HACA’s mission is to improve the quality of life for persons with hemophilia and von Willebrand disease and their families through education and patient service; and to promote research to find a cure.
