Hemp is a super-sustainable crop. It only requires 1/3 of land and on average zero irrigation to grow efficiently. Hemp textile is softer than linen and lasts 3 times longer than cotton. Hemp is antibacterial as a crop and as textile, repelling all bugs and weeds in the field. No herbicides or pesticides are needed for growing. The antibacterial qualities also means that towels, kitchen towels etc. do not get mouldy, even under damp conditions (also reducing risk of allergies etc.) So, less frequent washing at lower temperatures is needed, adding to the sustainability of the fabric. No matter the frequncy, hemp textiles always smell good! We have developed a series of beautiful home and baby textiles, already carried by a number of Danish retailers, while more Danish and international retailers are following the brand.
