About Hempfield Foundation
Founded in 1993, the Hempfield Foundation is a separate not-for-profit organization that supports the educational mission of the Hempfield School District through grants and scholarships. The Foundation awards grants to Hempfield faculty and staff for initiatives that enhance the academic, athletic, and arts experiences of Hempfield students. These grants allow teachers to try creative, research-based ideas that they may not otherwise be able to do. The annual scholarships given by the Foundation help graduating seniors succeed in their transition to college or other postsecondary educational opportunities.
