Hephae Energy Technology was started in 2020 with the idea of harnessing fire to make a difference in the world. The team is dedicated to launching a new generation of drilling technology that will allow geothermal energy to be developed safely and efficiently globally. This infinite power source is the only sustainable energy system that can provide baseload power to the grid. Hephae’s vision is to develop an innovative integrated drilling system to enable the generation of terawatts of clean, baseload energy by 2050. We can accomplish this by leveraging the lessons learned in geothermal drilling to date while importing more than a century of directional drilling expertise and technologies perfected by the oil and gas and aerospace industries. The Hephae team brings more than 100 years’ experience developing and running technologies in some of the harshest drilling conditions in the world. Once commercialized, the Hephae drilling system will enable geothermal to become the go-to source of clean power anywhere on the planet.
