We are a family owned company specialized in manufacturing traditional Spanish Sponge Cake since 1962. Today, the second generation of the family sticks to the values that made the brand Heras Bareche an example of quality and tradition. Our products stand for a long lasting sponginess and smoothness throughout the 6-month shelf life thanks to the high quality of the main ingredients: flour, sugar, fresh egg and vegetable oil. Local suppliers help us ensure the final quality while reducing the footprint of our activities. Our success lies in the great respect we have for the ingredients and for the formula used to process our sponge cakes. We keep in mind the times of dosage, settling of the dough, baking, etc., so that the level of humidity and water control fulfil our internal requirements and that the complete manufacturing process complies with the IFS and BRC requirements. Our range of products cover from traditional sponge cakes, to filled - with chocolate, chocolate chips, or marmalade - muffins, decorated muffins and tailor-made products. Our experienced and high skilled staff are ready to develop products according to the specific needs of our customers worldwide in order to match the demands of local consumers, both in terms of taste, flavour or packaging presentation. This level of flexibility has made us stand from many of our competitors and has positioned Heras Bareche in international markets all around the globe. Exports represent today around 80% of our sales.
