About HermanWines

HermanWines was founded in 1929. In the more than 80 years since then, the company has grown into a real wine specialist: as well as representing and importing wine from top domaines, we have expertise in the area of old and rare wines. We also have an extensive range of affordable, delicious and character-filled wines. Jean-Louis Deparis® is our own line with which we offer our customers champagnes and wines of a consistent and affordable quality. Since 2013 HermanWines is also wordwide exclusive licensee of Cuvée Spéciale Hello Kitty by Champagne M. Hostomme. Our wines are stored in a 3000 square metre state-of-the-art facility, which provides optimal storage conditions with a constant temperature of 13 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity of 60 percent. Climate-controlled transport is also provided as necessary. Owner Paul Herman and his six-member team operate according to the 4P principle: Passion, Pleasure, Positivity and Perfection. We aim to fulfil our customers’ wine-related wishes and service is very important to us. After all, wine can evoke emotion and special memories. Therefore you are not just a customer, but also a friend; a wine friend. For those searching for a bottle from a particular birth year or to mark an anniversary, we stock vintages dating back to 1675. Wine lovers from all over the world and from a variety of backgrounds find their way to us in Axel (the Centre of the World). From world wide top restaurants to bistros, from individual consumers to wholesalers and investors, from mere mortals to movie stars, there is something for everyone.
