HERS is the only nonprofit organization in the Bay Area that provides appropriate products (such as bras, prostheses, and wigs) for breast cancer survivors in a safe and comfortable environment. Our program stores provide a private, understanding environment for breast cancer survivors to be properly fitted for bras and prosthesis, lymphedema garments for the arm and wigs. The service and the products of HERS Breast Cancer Foundation are vital to patients facing breast cancer and help to restore survivors' sense of HERS -- Hope, Empowerment, Renewal, and Support. We are truly "a soft place to fall" during an extremely difficult time in our patients' lives. We support all Bay Area women healing from breast cancer by providing post-surgical products and services, regardless of financial status.
